In our ongoing efforts to communicate with you about our products and services, we are providing you with a list of current FAQs. This information may help you in making your best decision when managing your energy expenses.

Q. What can we expect for energy costs moving forward for my home or business?

A. Globally, all energy costs have been historically volatile for the past few years. Energy experts are uncertain as these energy costs are dependent on numerous factors including geopolitical events and energy product supply issues.

Q. What can I do about controlling my heating expenses for the coming year?

A. HOP Energy companies have been offering price plans to protect our customers during times of volatility.

Heating fuel has had dramatic price fluctuations in the past (both higher and lower). For many years your local HOP branches have offered price plans to help manage and stabilize these market changes. We are currently offering price plans for this coming heating season that can give you control over your heating expenses. Historically, pricing plans have provided a valuable solution for controlling prices and creating greater certainty against market fluctuations.

Additionally, establishing a budget plan for the coming heating season will level heating expenses by spreading these costs throughout the year.

Q. Does HOP offer both Fixed and Capped Price Plans?

A. HOP offers both Fixed and Capped price plans. Contact your local office for details on these plans.

Q. When can I expect my 2024-25 Price Plan?

A. For customers on price plans, your local HOP Energy branch sends out a renewal notification as the current price plan is expiring. You may contact our office to arrange for your new Price Plan. For your convenience, you may also renew on your HOP “My Account” portal and receive an additional 10¢ discount per gallon off our current pricing offer. (To register go to: www.hopenergy.com and click on My Account).

Whether you have been on a pricing plan or not, you may contact your local branch to discuss pricing options specific to your account.

Q. What else can I do to manage heating costs for the coming year?

A. Schedule your annual heating system Preventative Maintenance Tune-Up to ensure your system is operating at peak efficiency. These Preventative Maintenance Tune-Ups are included in our Service Agreements.

Schedule an appointment with our service specialist at your local service branch to have older heating system equipment evaluated for options on upgrades to improve efficiency and performance. Even newer equipment can be evaluated for improvement. Financing programs are often available.

Q. What should I do if I am having difficulty paying my bill?

A. Contact our Customer Service Department at your local branch to discuss payment options or for specific questions about your account. See all our locations here

Q. What should I do if I have questions about Energy Assistance Programs?
